A Letter from Briana Compagna

Hi, my name is Brianna Compagna and I am a 17 year old senior at John Stark Regional High School. Every senior at John Stark needs to do a senior project in order to graduate; I am talking to you about mine. I have chosen to do something close to my heart; I am organizing a walk for Diabetes. I’m doing this entire walk on my own and I could use some help.

Diabetes is a serious disease that many people are faced with throughout their lifetime. Currently 1 in 10 people have Diabetes. It puts people through a tough time and can lead to heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure, blindness, kidney disease, and is the cause of death for many. Diabetes care cost $174,000,000,000 in the US last year alone.

Support the JSR Generals Football Booster Club

The John Stark Generals Booster Club needs your support for the upcoming football season! They are putting a Football Program together to hand out at home games all season. They are looking for local businesses to place ads in the program. NH Open Doors- State Wide Tourist Event

This year's NH Open Doors is on Veteran's Day Weekend - November 6 and 7th.
Organized by the League of NH Craftsmen and NH Made, NH Open Doors provides NH artisans, craftspeople, specialty food producers, retail shops, restaurants, farm stands and orchards, lodging properties, cultural events, and attractions with a low-cost, cooperative marketing venue.

2011 Weare Telephone Directory and Yellow Pages

The Weare Area Chamber of Commerce is soliciting bids for its 2011 Weare Telephone Directory and Yellow Pages. Deadline for submitting your bid is September 15, 2010 and the winning bid will be announced on September 30th.
